Summer Hype is a residential summer camp for children from Hackney. This year our participants will be 16, and starting their leadership training.

Our story
Summer Hype was founded in 2015 as a residential summer camp for children from Hackney.
We welcomed the same cohort of young people back to our camps every summer, until training them to be youth leaders in 2021.
Today, the participants who joined us originally at the age of 10 are incredible youth leaders on Summer Hype camps and role models in the community.
Each year we welcome a new cohort of participants who will go on to be leaders on Summer Hype and in the wider world.
